As with anything in life, it’s the people involved who have the greatest effect on the success of a desired outcome. Procuring or transferring Sonoma County real estate is no different. Specifically when it comes down to what can be complex, high-value transactions on rural properties… no two are alike! As part of the family business, Jeromey Clifford began working in and around real estate at the age of 15. That coupled with his nearly 14 years of licensed experience in Sonoma County real estate and one can see how he has gained tremendous market knowledge. He’s considered a maverick among his colleagues and fellow agents for his exclusive focus on million-dollar-plus country properties. Beginning by building his own brokerage from the ground up, Jeromey’s alliance with Sotheby’s International Realty® raises the bar and brings his local knowledge to a worldwide audience. His goal is to create an exciting, comfortable environment throughout a rewarding real estate process. Nothing is held with more pride than another referral from a delighted client.
Jeromey lives in rural Sonoma County in between Sebastopol and Santa Rosa with his wife and daughter. He is an amateur winemaker and an active supporter of charitable organizations within the community. View Jeromey's Exclusive Listings
What’s your favorite way to spend a day off in Sonoma County?
I like to go to breakfast with my family at the Willowwood and drive out to the ocean for kite flying and a day at the coast. Coming back to town, stopping by a favorite winery to pick up wine for dinner and join friends for a nice evening out.
What’s your favorite Sonoma County beach?
It is accessed by the almost–secret parking lot by Salmon Creek. It’s a great, wide beach, perfect for recreation, and there are dunes to picnic behind that shield you from the wind.
What’s the best real estate memory you have?
Every transaction I do reinforces why I love my job of working with country estates. But if I have to choose… when I bought my own first home, there’s nothing like that feeling.
What drives you in real estate?
No two estates or properties are the same, and the challenge of a client’s individual desires motivates me to meet and exceed their expectations. Sonoma County is so diverse and still so pristine in the country that I can do my job with confidence that the land amazes and inspires people as much today as it did back when Luther Burbank said this was a chosen spot in all the world.
Where do you go for the best views of Sonoma County?
Hiking up to Gunsight Rock above Kenwood in the Sonoma Valley is spectacular; some of the best views are from my clients’ properties.
There are obviously tons of scenic drives in Sonoma County, what are your favorites?
Driving out through Dry Creek Valley or Knights Valley is wonderful. Driving anywhere in the fall is amazing because the vineyards are all changing color, and west Sonoma County in the spring when all the apple orchards are in bloom.
